TURN OFF PERSONALISED PLAYLISTS

Recently, Spotify started customizing its own playlists (ie Spotify curated) based on what I like, but I go to these playlists (decades, dinner music playlists, etc.) to listen to something I don't usually listen to.

Spotify, please stop customizing your own playlists to me and just play its standard curated playlist like it used to.

Hi, that "made for you" feature is illogical. We don't want your software to forcibly make my playlists and radios identical. Please add option to disable it.

This has been driving me crazy since it was introduced. I like to listen to a really wide range of genres. Spotify's song radio/recommendations weren't perfect but used to do a decent job supporting this. These days it just migrates me back to what I've been listening to. Today it hit a peak when I was listening to a live traditional Irish song. I really liked it and wanted to hear more like it but the song  radio was full of either the same band which I already knew about since I listening to them or the music I already listen to which is completely unlike this song. I'm so frustrated. This used to be a way to explore new music the way we used to when it was on the radio. Now it's just useless. I already have playlists of my own music. I don't need more of that, I need something new.

Please, add this feature. Just a checkbox in settings and showing the playlist without the modifications (just displaying the thing you already have in your database) does not seem as a complicated feature, and I'm saying this as a web app developer

Ive been using Spotify for over ten years and because of this experience have been considering moving to apple music. Im so sick of the same songs every day it’s driving me nuts.

Pleeeeease fix this. My playlists of all genres and categories are now the same 200 songs in different orders, over and over again unless I manually search new artists.

As everyone else said, I used Spotify to find new music and the algorithm used to be great at showing new things I would like. Now it just plays the songs I’ve already listened to, and my “new songs” are just a different song on the same album. This is just bad programming, for goodness sake at very least, set the customization to include more new songs and artists. But also just let there be non-“customized” playlists out there!

Agreed. All my mixes seem to have the same music on it.

Almost all of Spotify's playlists say they're made for me and only have songs I listen to frequently, which bores me. I want to have the option to turn that off so I can listen to the original playlist and hear new music, not the same old thing.
