Tap action for artist and album names in Android auto

When playing a song in Android auto, the artist name and album cover are shown, but nothing happens when tapping either of them. If I hear something I like, I would like to touch on either artist name or album cover and be directed to the artist or album, respectively, just like in the mobile app. Strange that this feature is not implemented already.
