The ♡ Heart button AND! a (+) Plus button

In March 2023, the ♡ Heart button will start being replaced with a (+) Plus button for saving things to Your Library. Things that have been saved to Your Library will now show a green ✔ Check icon instead of a green Heart icon.

While the new (+) button is quite useful to know if a song is added to your library, many users loved to see a heart icon ♡ on their favorite songs.

Currently, to add a song to your favorites (♡) you have to click on the (+) button and add it to your favorites! It's very confusing, and it took away from seeing a lovely heart next to your favorite songs. 😞

My idea is for users to have both buttons.

The (+) button to let users know that your songs are added in their libraries.
And the ♡ button so users can directly add their songs to their favorites!

Both buttons would work very well, and would be very intuitive for users.

I "like" how Spotify organizes their application.

Choosing to replace the like feature with some kind of plus and then sorting songs by playlists has never been so annoying.
In large playlists, a few songs play on repeat while others go unheard for months, also a "great" feature.
And of course, the revamped queue view. My last straw.

"Thank you, Spotify."
I hope something will be done for the better, otherwise, unfortunately, I will have to say goodbye.

 A little bit out of context here but does someone have a hard time navigating through playlists?

I personally **bleep** ton of playlists and if I want to reach out to songs on a specific playlist, I need to first hit "your library" --> Playlist button --> By you --> and flip through the playlists... Makes me think that spotify really does not want us to make our own playlist now that they even removed the heart button. 😞 They want us to discover songs made by them.:(

Instead of messily merging the Liked button with Playlists (which users have been asking you to undo for a while now), there should actually be three buttons next to the song:

💚 for your liked songs, exactly as it were; displayed in listings such as albums and playlists.

A bookmark 🔖 to quickly save songs/albums/artists you want to revisit later in an organized space. Maybe they showed up on your feed, or you're on the go and shazamed a song and want to check out the album, or you just generally want to work through an artist's albums, or you were recommended a song, and you don't want to put them into the pile of liked songs, because you don't actually haven't been able to listen to the song yet.

The ➕ for when you have the time to add to any of your playlists/liked.

I agree!!  now i dont know which songs i have in my playlist bc the plus button disappear, again. Bring back the plus button

Adding a separate button specifically for liking songs. Currently, the “Like” button is combined with the checkmark that shows if a song is added to a playlist. This can be confusing, as a song might appear with a checkmark if it’s in a playlist, even if it’s not in the “Liked Songs” playlist.

Just commenting again to request this feature. At the moment, I've had to completely change the way I make playlists to attempt to make the 'add' button work like the 'like' button. I only ever add the first track of an album to a 'bookmarks' playlist. Then when I look at the album, apart from the first track I can see if I've liked a track by the tick mark. 

Absolutely f*#!()g ridiculous that I have to do this just to bring back functionality that has been critically useful since the early days of spotify (the 'star' button used to be absolutely invaluable) - but then again I guess spotify have had my money for the last 10 years anyway, so they'll never change. Or at least, will never change things for the better rather than determinedly making things worse.

Spotify how many times do we need to tell you we want them back? I had no choice to update my app for my wrapped because YOU guys didn't let me use my phone browser for it and now I deeply regret it. Wrapped wasn't even worth it.
