Video/Audio preference toggle for android TV (or other TV spotify apps)

My Question or Issue

Dear spotify,

Please add a button within the app settings menu on the android TV spotify app that saves the users preference for the default listening mode: either video or audio.

It is really annoying to manually have to change it any time it automatically decides to switch to one of the other listening modes after a brief countdown. The manual toggle button can be kept underneath the track, however please stop forcing this countdown switch, because 9/10 times it switches to the undesired listening mode.

To resolve this a simple toggle for preference can be added in settings. It could switch in either of 3 states: keep it as it is now (default), Only show video, or, Only play pure audio. They can be simply labeled as Preference: Default/Audio/Video.

It is a small thing but something that would greatly improve the app experience and make it less frustrating.

Hi anyone please, since I love the MV Beta! But on my TV the video starts automatically. Can you add an option to always start in audio mode instead. Please help me 😫😒!!  It always disconnected back when after switching to "Audio".
