how about NOT MAKING US PAY TO SEE THE LYRICS

add the lyrics back.

ADA compliance should been in play for that. No intention to discredit you. Also, since it’s less to do with the music sonically, I’d think that having access to lyrics on a separate area for lyrics would be helpful potentially. I genuinely apologize, as I didn’t mean to be insensitive about that- it wasn’t the point I was attempting to make.

I am unusually passionate about Spotify as we’re at a point where they can either win or start to slowly fail. work on websites, am passionate about the future of the internet, and support Spotify as I believe they’re the single entity that can emerge as a true streaming platform not controlled by Apple or Amazon, and not looking to monopolize beyond their niche.

A lot of people are angry about this, and it’s a legitimate gripe if you valued something that was taken away by surprise.

Absolutely, lyrics ate also a feature necessary for those who are hard of hearing and have ADHD and are slow.

REAL!!!! like why do we have to pay $10.99 a month just to see lyrics?!?!?!

Making lyrics accessible for people who are hard of hearing or have Auditory Processing Disorder would be a very nice thing to Not Stick Behind A Paywall!

Especially if Spotify itself isn't even adding the lyrics themselves and are just stealing them from a volunteer-run website!

Oh boy, I sure do hope spotify finally starts paying people what they're due and stops being money grubbing scum! :3

I know this won't stay up for long, because why would it? But hopefully if we send things like this enough times maybe they'll realize their decision is ableist and awful...

Sincerely, a very P.O'd autistic person with auditory processing disorder.

I recently went to listen to a song on Spotify and saw that the number of lyrics we can read is now limited for accounts without a subscription.

I was very upset by this update, because I listen to a lot of music and I really like to read the lyrics as I listen to them, and I'm not the only one.

I know that the change was made to increase the number of subscriptions and, consequently, the company's profits, but I believe that the lyrics feature is something very basic that shouldn't be limited for anyone.

Furthermore, I think the update has more potential to disappoint non-subscribers than to encourage them to pay for a subscription.

Therefore, withdrawing this update would be the best solution in my opinion. I hope you agree with me and that we can resolve this situation in the best way, thank you!!!

I get paying for no ads becuase ads are how they make money but i dont get paying to have lyrics its just words to the songs this is a music listening app but idk it kinda feels like its getting to be more of one of those moblie games where u just get cringe ads and you have to pay to win

I often add lyrics to Musixmatch by ear. It's totally unfair to have to pay to see the lyrics that I submitted and transcribed painstakingly, word by word. This situation is frustrating, please bring back the lyrics.
