The spotify widget changing to show the cover art for what’s currently playing instead of my playlist cover should be optional 

Make it a option so the people who wants to see theirs playlists covers and the ones that prefer to see the last/currently playing song all satisfied

Description:
I’d like an API endpoint that generates playlists based on:

1. Numeric ranges for danceability, energy, valence, tempo, and key/mode (from Spotify’s Audio Features API).

2. A keyword or phrase in the track title.

Example: danceability 0.7–0.9, energy 0.6–0.8, tempo 120–140 BPM, key C or D, track title contains “love.”

The endpoint would return tracks or create a playlist that meets all criteria. Lyrics search may not be available due to licensing, so track title filtering is sufficient.

This feature would let developers and creators build highly tailored, programmatic playlists quickly and easily.

i’m having an aneurysm bc my recently played shows the song cover not my custom playlist cover. my phone is no longer aesthetic and it makes me so so mad. i really hope it changes.

Noticed the same thing, really annoying because my playlist covers matches my phones aesthetic. Not a fan of the new change
