"Do Not Play-list"

Status: Live Idea
0 Likes

Example to explain:
A person listens to the same playlist or songs everyday. Possibly during an activity.

Spotify defines those songs as a person's top songs / favs / etc.

That's ok - characteristics of those songs are probably good in some ways for recommendations.
But for the spotify customer, it can be annoying sometimes, like:

1. annual summary being essentially the same yoy or predictable if new songs are added to that list. (i'd love to know what top songs are outside of that list.)

2. the new A.I. DJ feature, or automated playlists dumping songs from that playlist into and throughout mixes/playlists.

Realising it is a bit nuanced, but it's real. Maybe it's an A.I. thing (not probable) or it's a 'hidden' playlist feature to toggle on/off including songs in a playlist in automated mixes or whatever. the songs would still be monetized and their characteristics could be used to identify potential new music - especially for that specific playlist. feel free to email with questions.
