Paradise fears not many people know them. I have a lot of unknown songs more than people but go listen to paradise fears. So do you know paradise fears if you do repley 🙂
My fav unknown artist right now has got to be The Town Hall. They just released their first album, and it is fantastic!
I really, really like The Death of Pop. Have played the album 'Runts' quite a bit. The recording quality could use a little help on some tracks, as it is a little low-fi and fuzzy, but that almost adds to the ambience, as if you're listening to the minor imperfections on a record player.
The songs are full of infectious hooks and lyrics that manage to mix jaded sarcasm and worldliness with a healthy dose of good fun. The style has elements of post punk, dream pop, and jangle pop.

"get out of here with this hipster nonsense!"- my dad as I blasted this in the car one day.
On the reals check out Matt Dimona. He has mastered what it means to create breezy atmospheric pop that was made for late night drives and cruising down the 101.
