This threads definition of INDIE: An umbrella concept of a genres like indie rock, indie folk, indie electronica, indie pop, lo-fi, dreampop, noise rock, shoegaze, and all kinds of genre-bending wonders that is always evolving, searching beyond the mainstream wall, exploring the deep spectrum of creativity, emotion and intelligence (so yeah, the definition is wide and not much of a definition at all).
