Can't figure out this 90s song - PLEASE HELP!

I need your help!! I can't get this song out of my head and it has been driving me crazy. I remember listening to it when I was younger, but I have scoured the internet and cannot find anything! 

What I do know is that the artist is a female (or female group) and it was a pop/r&b style song. It's a very fast, upbeat songs and was from the early 90's (or possibly could have been late 80's).  The only lyrics I can remember are to the chorus below:

Do you want me cause I want you do you want me cause I want you to want me to.

Any help in finding this song would be greatly appreciated!!

Weirdly enough I put the lyrics through Google and it came back with "Want to Want Me" by Jason Derulo but that didn't fit your description.
