Delete Artist and never play them again

How the **bleep** do i get Mariah Carey to NEVER play again on my Spotify?  She cannot sing and I cannot stand her one and only song which is playing now.

I have trouble with that too, I don't think we can delete an artist but you can block them. 

Go on their profile click the three dots and block them, that way Spotify will skip any of that artist's songs.
