How to submit an unreleased song for Spotify Editorial Playlists?

Sounds simple but here's the issue:

In order to get a song on SPOTIFY it has to be DISTRIBUTED through a service such as Distrokid. That's easy, I simply upload to Distrokid and select which online streaming services I want my song distributed to. Here's the issue: In order to get on a editorial playlist consideration it needs to be set for a later release-you have to give the editorial board a couple weeks to consider the song....

BUT as soon as you choose SPOTIFY as your online streaming service you have no say on WHEN your song will show up on Spotify. Might be four days, might be a week.

Lets say your song appears on Spotify 5 days after you uploaded it to Distrokid for distributed. The song then shows up on Spotify and your chance to set it up for later release is now kaput. 

How to I release a song through a Spotify approved distribution service but have Spotify hold unto it without releasing it until I get a chance to submit it for editorial playlist consideration?
