Hi.  I love Spotify and all music.  I was listening to a playlist today and an "R. Kelly" song came on.  I am baffled Spotify has allowed this after all those young woman testified to what he did to them! 

I believe Spotify needs to make it right against abuse to woman and remove all R. Kelly songs.

Hello I’ve posted about this topic also. I recently discontinued my subscription with Spotify because of this single reason Alone. They said they have removed all the music off their end, they say the music is available because people added those songs to personal playlists or what not. Sound like a bunch of you know what to me.

Simple to turn a blind eye. Takes guts to speak on what you think is unjust . Until situations like the victims of that PEDO had to endure become personal most people speak as such. Smh

learn to separate art and artist, yea, hes a bad person, but he made art. charles manson was a bad person and i have whole playlists of his stuff, it doesn't mean i agree with his personal views or morals. its complicated, yea, but not everything is black and white.

I completely understand where you’re coming from. Always been an issue of mine my emotion. At the same token what went on over 50 years ago as opposed to today where we all have seen multiple videos of this stuff. It’s just weird to pay money to a company that simply rather just keep him on. I must ask this in no disrespect. If you had a female family member maybe a sister or a daughter that feel victim to some**bleep** like what R Kelly has would you simply be able to separate art and artist..? Just curious honestly. Respect either way .

if it was personal i wouldnt want them to profit off of me but if their art was good id understand people that did like their work. I am that female family member, and I know amazing people who have hurt me greatly, and I still find beauty in their positive attributes. i don't believe lfe is so black and white. good people do bad things and bad people do good things. maybe there's no good and bad. jus subjective
