Temporary block recently played songs

I listen to Spotify several hours every day. I always use lists or the radio function because I prefer to listen to mixed artists. But Spotify very often plays the same songs. Even though I choose lists called Oldies, 70s, Mellow or radio based on The Beatles, David Bowie or Radiohead, when Spotify puts on a 10cc song, it's always I'm not in love. They've done other songs! 

It goes for other lists and artists too. It has been annoying for years. 

Suggestion

Develop a function that lets me block songs that have been played in lists and radio for a period of time. Let me choose 1) how I listen to music, and 2) for how long I want to block played songs. For instance: 

When playing radio, Block played songs for 6 months. 

That would improve my Spotify experience 1000 percent!
