Hi you all, I started a blog this year named LESS THAN 1,000 FOLLOWERS as my main supporting playlist and also created this playlist where I'm adding every single track that we review and so far in 21 months we have made more than 1,800 reviews... an amazing number if you allow me to say it out loud.

I hope you can enjoy it as much as we do doing this blog. If you enjoy any of these artists please support them as much as you can.

Hey, guys, I hope you're having a great weekend and in case you want to listen to this new album that it's weird but fun, full of different kinds of music genres to mention a few Ska, Funk, Punk, Reggae and more, so it is better if you know by the own band words:

"Four of the most wretched, smug and off-putting people you’d ever be sorry to see. These vulgar and vile vermin got together and had the audacity to start a band – bunch of lowlife wasters. They think they’re really good but of course they would. Nobody else should like The Brouhaha but check ’em out and see for yourself."

This is the band's eponymous debut album that for some reason is wrong on the release day on Spotify says 2020 but was released today, so enjoy this brand new album

Hey, I'm happy to announce that this week we're going to have a review from these Ohio kids, I love their work and this upcoming single title "Faded Not Jaded" is full of energy (as usual with their music), the single is set to be released October 03 you can pre-save it now (you'll find that link on their socials).

For now, I can share with you the art cover for this upcoming single and a quote from Evan Cox (15-year-old) guitarist and lyricist from the band

“'Faded, Not Jaded' is about everyone having a different version of you in their head. That version might change, but you’ll never be able to control or understand it. It makes you question lots of things,"

But you can enjoy their music right away, here it's their Spotify profile in case you're not familiar with their sound and if you enjoy it, remember to follow and give a green hear on the songs that make feel like it.

Hey, are you ready to start this new week? Here you have a few reviews that we have today for you

https://open.spotify.com/track/0wByiBrfe8tfY2HLFRrtMg?si=5ab3a64288b34499

https://open.spotify.com/track/7CkB46ahJ1i3fUmWYFk3Al?si=4f808d028c884070

And also an album that is dropping this Friday, September 30 that I highly suggest you listen to, is a thing of beauty, the band is "The Baker's Basement" and their newest single released is the one that gives name to the album "Wild Wild Sheep"

https://open.spotify.com/track/2QjHhu3PtoNXo3Yzjnv7Y1?si=d9b47a0b550a4cfe

And I want to share with you a message directly that the band shares with us for y'all about what you can expect from this upcoming album:

"Expect each song to be pretty different. We view each one as its own personality, and we nurture them as such. Every creative decision is all about what will help a given song find its full potential and life. Some are extremely minimal, with just a couple voices and a guitar. Some are a lot more active and in your face, involving more rapid fire lyricism, driving electric guitar and drums - programed textures and percussive effects. And although some of our tunes are purely instrumental, we absolutely love words. To us, words are paint. They allow a listener to touch and feel and see. They are often illustrative and we try to pick out words that make what we’re singing about tangible and conversational. Also - we try to keep our songs from getting larger than life, writing from the perspective of a singular onlooker going about their day-to-day existence. Sometimes songs are less relatable when they try to take on huge subject matters in huge ways—as if trying to speak to a large group of people all at once rather than just one or two. Sometimes, it feels like the best way to comment on the big topics is to limit it to the tiniest of lenses. Anyway! We often like to say that we make small songs."

Support, share, and stream!!!

Hey, I hope you're having a great week so far, and here you have a few reviews that I just published today, first, the debut single by the New York band Blue Lush

https://open.spotify.com/track/4zdt3a8pgJF72WZhm1mr6S?si=9596ace7e81a4d5f

And now I mentioned last Sunday about the upcoming single by the punk rockers Detention Live, well that day they WON the Cleveland music awards best punk band 2022, so a lot of hype for this release, I can't wait for you to listen, remember that drops October 03rd. You can pre-save it now.

And also I have the review for the upcoming single by Aurelia titled "Sinister Things" that you can also pre-save now

sinister things.jpeg

"Cinematic with twirling plucks in the dark atmosphere, there’s some truly moody bass, which are still no match to the emotionally heavy vocals of Aurelia. Bold and fearless in nature, her pop voice also carries operatic elements running through the song to further heighten the feelings of pain, revelation, and ultimately freedom, especially in the climax of the song."

You can take listen to what Aurelia is listening to recently on her own Spotify playlist "Current."

Or you can check her profile while waiting for this upcoming single:

Also, I published yesterday the review for Blueprint Tokyo and their upcoming single "Say Anything" which is set to be released on October 07th (you can pre-save it now) and you can listen to their previous work here:

https://open.spotify.com/track/3xT8ho2zkgBVL8nriTwj7I?si=4f0c6ff6f2434f60

And we are about to publish a lot more, but let's wait until tomorrow for that, but I want to say that we're going to have a premier later today for a debut EP that I'm sure you're going to love, this is the art cover for it, so stay tuned.

And today already published the debut single by Clinically Sane that was released today (brand-new)

https://open.spotify.com/track/43XO84pEDHGoXuo1vckj2u?si=0c7f2fec12fa4621

In his own words:

This particular song is about derealization: a mental state where you feel detached from reality. This song was my way to cope with my personal episode of derealization and how I dealt with it. It’s about questioning your own sanity and keeping it all to yourself because of the fear of not being understood. It’s something very close to me, as it still happens here and there and that I had to learn to live with. In the end, I hope that with this song I can show that with professional help, we can learn how to live with our mental issues.” – Tiago Freitas

And also presented the upcoming debut album by I've Tried Sleeping due out on November 13th on Spotify and you can listen to 4 of those 10 tracks as part of this debut album.

https://open.spotify.com/artist/7IoFPNpcL13twR6UQhM5Hf?si=SiWNvrWHSu-Oc_n1UNJwnQ

In his own words:

"This is a Clash record. Urgent, bristling. It puts a foot on your throat from the start and never relents. It is album rock. A 45-minute piece of music meant to be listened to from start to finish. It is not a 14-second soundbyte to be dismissed." Chalie Edwards aka I've Tried Sleeping

We have a few more review dropping later today, so stay tuned, because you don't want to miss out!!!

Hey, I hope you're doing great and enjoying the tracks/artist that I'm presenting here, today we have the review for the newest single of Madison Davenport and I have the chance to chat with here and I want to share with you the backstory for this track in her own words:

“So, I became friends with someone, we had a lot of chemistry but tried to keep things “just friends”. We spent all our time together and seriously became best friends (with an underlying air of major attraction). One day I decided to go 20-30mins out of my way to get donuts for them, and on the ride to their place I looked over at those donuts and had that wonderful/terrifying realization “Oh Shit… I really really like this person.” I got the inspiration bug and started making voice notes, and by the time I reached their house I had fully written “Oh Shit!”.”

Later today I'll publish the upcoming single by Britnyt Lobas that drops tomorrow and is titled Hollow an "Alt Rock" track that I'm sure you're going to love. If you haven't listened to her before you can listen to her previous releases right now.
