I'm looking for traditional country music - not "new country" or "pop country" - mind you they all have their place.  My music is based on the traditional country of the Carter Family or some of the Countrypolitian music, but looking for more bands that play original country music in the style of the 1920-1930s.

I rarely follow anyone or their playlist, because I'm pretty particular. I don't like a lot of newer Country, because it's more Pop or Hip-Hop, although there is still Real County being made. I don't listen to Country, as much as I used to it, mostly because I have focused more on the Rock and Metal side, but I still like it, and I still know a good amount of it.

With those statements made, I'll check it out.

For anyone who loves and misses 80's and 90's country music (which is what I grew up with), or those who prefer their country a little more on the traditional side, I have three favorite country playlists I've made. They are Fall and Winter playlists (my favorite seasons), and they include a wide variety of artists. Besides the hit singles, they also include a lot of deeper cuts.

Here is my favorite one, which includes mostly 80's and early 90's country. So much of this music takes me back to my early childhood!
