Displayed name on playlists

I've read that you can not change your username and you can connect your Facebook to change what name is displayed on a created playlist (neither worked). My display name is correct but then it still says my old username on created playlists... To me, it has the correct name but if viewed from someone else, it is the old username. Any thoughts would be appreciated!
