I'm sure I've made a few playlists of my own which would fit that description, but those are buried deep in my library and I'm not sure I'm ready to revisit them 😄

That said, Spotify has a curated playlist which fits the mood called 'Broken Heart' and which has some tracks on it that I like. Note that the playlist you see will be tailored to the music you've listened to before on Spotify - two tracks which appear on mine and which I love are 'Be My Mistake' by The 1975 and 'Bad' by James Bay.

Jumping in here to drop a sad track on the topic. 

This track is in Bulgarian so let me tell you more about its plot. The lyrics are based on a poem written by Dimitar Voev, frontman of Bulgarian new wave band Nova Generacia, when he was just 18 years old. The song was released in 1992. 

The song tells about a man who fell in love with a woman, but referring to her as to "a doll". He explains how long the distance between them is and wonders if there's a way to inspire her with life so she can become a real human woman, allowing them to be together.
