Favourite 70's record? That could only go to Michael Hurley's 'Armchair Boogie', back in 71'. Led Zep III and Pink Moon are close seconds.

Definitely love Dirt by The Stooges from their 1970 album Funhouse. The first time I met this track was actually the cover version Depeche Mode made for their album Exciter (2001). I'll attach both tracks for comparison.
