Cannot enter curled bracket in password field on Philips TV

I have { and } in my Spotify password but it seems to be impossible to choose this character from the on-screen keyboard on my Philips TV 55PFL7008S. Is this a bug or is there a way of entering these in some other way?

I know that it is possible to enter this character in the native Philips fields.

I'd suggest you change your password to something without any special characters.

Mmmm I am considering that, probably the fastet way for me go get up and running. However it might be something for a future update of the app.

I'm not sure if this is a restriction in libspotify or with the way Phillips have implemented it. Certainly I've seen similar issues on other partner devices such as Sonos.
