CANCEL AN ACCOUNT TO ENTER A GUEST TO A DUO PLAN

CANCEL AN ACCOUNT TO ENTER A GUEST TO A DUO PLAN

I HAVE A HOME IN THE USA AND IN MEXICO, MY WIFE OPENED HER PREMIUM INDIVIDUAL ACCOUNT WITH A USA ADDRESS AND I BOUGHT THE DUO PLAN IN MEXICO AND WE HAVE SOME QUESTIONS.

DOES SHE HAVE TO CANCEL HER SUBSCRIPTION IN THE USA TO SIGN UP FOR MY DUO PLAN?

IF MY WIFE CANCELS HER INDIVIDUAL PLAN, WHEN SIGNING UP FOR MY DUO PLAN, WILL HER LISTS AND ALL THEIR INFORMATION BE LOST?

Hey there @rubesali,

Thanks for posting in the Community and welcome.

Apologies for the late response, we just came across your post. We've gone ahead and moved your post to our help boards, as it fits better here.

We'd like to add some insights. Keep in mind that, in order to share a plan, you need to fiscally live with the person you want to invite. Since you mentioned your wife has opened her account and set up in the United States and you in Mexico, she can't join your plan.

To answer your first question: she can cancel her subscription, but in order to be able to join your plan, the region/country needs to match in both the accounts. She can change the country/region by following these steps, but note the new country or region only shows when you’re actually there.

To answer your second question: your wife can change plans and this is not going to affect her library. That kind of change does not affect the content a user has saved previously within their account.

Hope this clears things up. If you have any questions or need anything else, the Community is here for you.
