Desktop App - Podcast with videos wont play

While using the Spotify Microsoft desktop app, i am unable to play podcast with videos, (joe rogan etc). The adverts before the podcast play fine.

That's an odd behavior since the video option is available for the desktop app. So in this case, we'd first recommend performing a clean reinstall of the app by following the steps in this article. This is often an overlooked step, but it’s more thorough than a quick one and can be helpful in getting rid of any cache that might be causing trouble. 

Also, taking into account that you can download the app from our webpage or the Microsoft Store, if you have the Microsoft version, would you mind installing the other one (or vice versa) to see if it makes any difference?

Lastly, include in your next response the make, model, and OS version of your device, along with the Spotify version you're currently running to continue investigating the case.
