Symbian syncing via wlan sucks on Nokia N8

Have Nokia N8 with up-to-date Symbian OS, if using WLAN option and doing offline playlist sync with Spotify, after about 10 pieces of music, either spotify goes offline, or wlan gets disconnected, or both. After any of these cases, I have to shut down spotify, and/or reconnect wlan, and re-start spotify. Quite annoying.Syncing via 3G seems to work. Just wondering if the hardware of N8 is undersized for handling such operations.

It's a pretty "old" phone running an extinct operating system. Has it always been slow to synch or is this something that started happening recently?

Thanks for replying. It is not about being slow, it is about hanging/freezing/going offline. When it syncs, it syncs fast, as long as it happens... The problem with WLAN has been always, though I am quite new spotify user...

Is there a way in the phone settings to prevent it going to sleep? It could be that it is turning off wifi when the screen turns off.
