Thanks for getting in touch about this here in the Community.
Would you mind checking if the software of your Apple tv has any pending updates? You can do that by following these specific steps.
If it's up to date, as a next step you can try unplugging the Apple TV and the router from the power > waiting for a couple of minutes > plugging them back in.
If the issue persists afterwards, we'd recommend giving a different internet connection a go to see if the same happens. You can create a hotspot on your phone and use that.

I’ve had the same issue for the last 6 months. I’ve also gone through all the troubleshooting steps but that hasn’t resolved the issue. I work from home and music is on all of the time. Unfortunately I’ve had to resolve to using Pandora which is not optimal.

Does this happen with multiple ads or just one? If the latter, we'd recommend reporting it in this thread as it's very likely a technical issue with the advert itself and not your TV.
If it's multiple ads, please send us your device model and OS version and try logging in to a different account so we can narrow down the possible cause. If possible, also send us a short video of how things look on your end.

thank you for your response. The problem has changed slightly; the app just freezes after 2 or 3 songs.
The song will stop at the end; there will be a small window in the top right corner announcing the next song and then the app freezes.
I have restarted and reset the Apple TV device to no avail. I have deleted the app, switched users, and signed out of the account on my phone, but nothing has changed.

To rule out a network issue, can you please connect your Apple TV to a hotspot on your phone and see if the behavior persists?
If possible, try changing your device's DNS to one of Google's or Cloudfare's listed below:
You should be able to do this from Settings - General - Network - Configure DNS - Manual.
