Downloaded Podcast Episodes Disappear Sometimes

Hello.

Sometimes, when I return to Spotify after a while, even though my phone's been on, as has the app in background, the podcast episodes I'd downloaded (they had the bright green downward arrow icon) suddenly seem to have disappeared (though the episodes remain marked with the bright green checkmark icon, remaining in my Library as such).

Sometimes, they seem to suddenly return (maybe because I'm on WiFi at the time, or for some other reason), but not always.

Why does this happen, and what can I do about it, both to bring my episodes back (other than re-downloading them, or uninstalling/reinstalling the app and then re-downloading them), and stop this from happening again?

Hi, again.

I also wanted to add that, among other things, the app seemingly converts the episodes from "downloaded" content to "cache".  I'm not sure why it wants to reassign these episodes like this.

Also, FYI, I keep the app updated to its latest version, and my Samsung Galaxy S7 phone is running Android v8.0, the latest version I'm able to get.
