Listener statistics drop day in day

Hi all,

Our stats for this week’s episode of our podcast are all over the place! The episode was released on Monday and had 2250 plays (as part of 5000 plays of all episodes), and those numbers were there Tuesday morning too. By Wednesday morning the total plays (of all episodes) on Monday had suddenly dropped to 750 even though the latest episode had over 4000 plays. Then today, the latest episode dropped to 3000, then 2000, before stopping at 1700 (it is now back up to 2000).

Does anyone know why the statistics would retrospectively change?
