Family subscription misleading

My son lives with his mother in Republic of Ireland and I am in Scotland. He is my own flesh and blood but can't add him to family account. Surely this is illegal for Spotify to class the option as family but should call it household instead?

Unfortunately there are some restrictions to Premium for Family: https://support.spotify.com/account_payment_help/premium_for_family/are-there-any-restrictions-to-pr.... I believe this is to prevent users from adding their friends/non-family members who don't reside at the same address to their plan.

Thank you for your reply. I accept their reasons behind it, just feel that the title is misleading as not all families live at the same address.
