family account and want to go abroad

When I have a family account with 4 others, and I wanna go abroad for a longer time (a few months), do I have to change my state of living to be able to keep listening to the music? and when I have to change it, can I still use my family account? because the account is actually just supposed to work when everybody has the same state of living!
