my student credentials are hooked up to a deleted account

i accidentally signed up for the premium student plan on an old account so i deleted that account a week ago and when i try to sign up for the student plan on my current account, it says my credentials are linked to a different account. how can i fix this?

In this case it's best you reach out directly to our customer service team through one of the channels here. They should be able to help you transfer the student discount over to your active account.
