Can we please not go the way of Microsoft and change things that are already great?

Can we please not go the way of Microsoft and change things that are already great?

Hey guys, here's a complaint I see and hear of often both offline and online. Basically, why do you have to change things that already work great if it provides no value? Because it often feels like once a feature reaches peak simplification, admin no longer knows what to do with itself and starts making changes for the sake of making changes. But those changes aren't always useful/valuable.

I reference Microsoft here because they're a prime example of what I just said. I mean, making a shortcut on Windows 11 anyone? They made it so much more complicated but there was no value in doing that.

And I say this because Spotify seems to be going this way. When y'all changed the "custom" order playlist option, at first I was peeved but then I realized/learned that the option had just moved. While it's a bit harder to find, I appreciate how you also gave us the option of whether or not to apply it to every playlist folder.

That said, I don't appreciate how a playlist folder no longer pops open onto the middle screen. I say because some of us don't have giant monitors and removing that option has made it a lot harder to browse, organize, and sort my playlists. A good example, I think, of how something simple was changed to something more complicated - but the added complexity provided no real value. Unlike the previous example.
