Keep spotify a music app rather than a social media app

I have just submitted the survey in which it asked about how I felt about the social aspect of spotify (the desktop feature that allows me to view what my friends listen to). I said that I am fine with this amount of socialization on the app, and although you will receive much feedback I caution on the amount in which this app becomes a more social platform. With recent warnings of the effects that social media has on its users (facebook/instagram) I would recommend that spotify does not attempt to create a more social platform in which comparison and direct communication is allowed (apart from maybe directly sending music but with no forms of messaging).
