”What my Vision of where, how and why Spotify should up its game for the upcoming World Launch of Apple Vision Pro. (And so much more, because Storytelling is also my Life) By Nousse.

This is long, very long. See it on the creative side. I don’t know Spotify from the inside like you do. Some things in here can be impossible. But it’s what ideas are for. You would have explained me Spotify in 1999, I would have laughed at you, it was impossible. You feel me?

This is Free and many more will come later. If you wish so, of course, I don’t want to sit on a chair that’s not mine, I don’t want to step on toes of anybody anymore in my life. I’ve already stepped on too much toes lol. I’m not asking for anything, but just be heard.**bleep** if you wish to contact me.

• Spotify XP, the KILLER APP of the Apple Vision Pro
• Gamifying the listening and “binging” (watching a TV show season from beginning to end without stopping but peeing eating and drinking) of music through adding RPG experience levelling system only in this app (that could later lead to super fans badges and gifts for the hard try users. Yes this would be abused and so what, with AI, we can decipher through the ones that launch a cpu all day to listen 24-7 without being hearing it all the time. And those who live with music. It could be a lottery of the most fans over the last decade or 5 years or last year or whatever)
• Spotify-Netflix like documentary for artists to be able to live the artists lives. (Because which fan wouldn’t want that right??)
• Spotify incubator for artists that emerge
• Spotify teaching the artists about the Apple Vision Pro and how they could become even bigger super stars when Apple Vision Pro has been democratised like iPhone  and iPad have been. To tech them all the new usages that will arise and how they could change right now to be ready for what comes next. For free !!!! So they will love Spotify even more. (You will make so much money you’ll be able to buy the Americas AHAH)
• And OF COURSE, my Love Flame Declaration to Spotify and everyone who worked their in their Life !!! Because you Guys Rock!!

So sorry for the Length of what comes. But I have so much to say about this, I did it short. It could have been a book about Spotify (and maybe I’ll write one about Music, my perception of it and How it helped me on my Way in Ways nothing an no one ever did!). So lets’ dive, shall we?

Vision Pro is coming, the few reviews are Laudatory. This is the next game changer. All right. Spotify emerged from the last wave, will it be agile enough to Surf the next One?

This is but an introduction of what could be.

Imagine sitting in your comfy Sofa, launching the Spotify Vision app, connected to ANY sound device in the house to instantly get the music through the soundsystems your users have across the world. And the ones who are getting and will get the Vision Pro are the ones who have the money. Anyway, let’s continue this little story of where Spotify could aim.

You launch this beautiful rebranded Logo (this will be another app only for Vision) of waves inside the Spotify logo instead of only the WiFi waves. It’ll be the same logo but with waves drawn like a child to mimick an experience (to input the idea of the difference contained in this next metaphor : when you dive in the sea compared to when you dive in the pool), and not just a “remitting” as the WiFi stands for. But emitting AND receiving at the same Time. This App could be called Spotify XP for Spotify Experience. Or Spotify Pro, or whatever.

And there, you can see the last Gigs of your favorite bands. You click on the last Coldplay concert, and with AI, Spotify Experience fetches ALL the recordings made in the concert of all the fans that posted parts of it on Facebook, YouTube, Dailymotion and so on. You can recreate with AI a concert that has not been filmed. And most of the video data will be BS, I know. But some rush are good quality. The fans jump and so does the camera? Yesssss this is IT ! This is the center of Spotify XP. You could add like an RPG level system to it. Looking for how many hours of this artist has been streamed for this user. How many hours he spent listening to this very song or album or artist like Last FM but gamifying it like F*ck! And like the trophies of the PS+ or Xbox Live, when you have listened to X hours of this artists, or heard ANY songs they have shared or anything we could find funny to unlock an achievement for it…. We music lovers we are gamers, we love Experience points, levelling up and so on. Don’t you? Whatever the year you were born?

And, sometimes at concerts, you need a rest. So you breathe. So you could add a “pause” button which passes everything less louder, like you were entering meditation, with sounds muffling. And then, the singer who has previously recorded a message appears before you and telling a tailored message to his audience. A message he cannot deliver to its fan usually. Because the artists need to go through papers, media, and YouTube channels and to shows and interviews. Which bores them. But this message will come from their Heart.

Imagine as a fan, your artist, the one you listen to everyday singing and making music, speaking to you with his normal voice, speaking his Truth not only through his music but also through videos, and texts and voice recordings, podcasts………. Imagine the BEAST Spotify XP could become. We can go as deep as maybe some artists will accept to be follow by little filming teams for their tours, getting all the rushes to add some documentary side to their art.

AND BOOOOOOM Spotify becomes THE YouTube of all Artists where they can share their Truth in Safe Places, at the Heart of their Concerts. This feature, Spotify SHOULD NEVER announce. Because when the first user will pause a concert and the video of the artist will appear, He.She will be so AMAZED and Shocked in a way, the BUZZ will be everywhere. Of course, this will need privacy, confidentiality, contracts and so on. And asking the few artists (because for the alpha and beta phase, there can’t be so many artists onboard but I’m sure Spotify has some favs with which you entertain “friend-relations” with the business relation and they would for sure accompany you and work this way with you if it means more money in their pockets. So I know it’s a whole new business model; But since I’m offering it, you know and feel I have to know-how of this and I like doing it 🔥

Anyway, let’s head back to the show : 

If the show was recorded professionally, Spotify would have ALL the rushes and enable the user to like “Google Street-View the concert” in real time almost through the different professional cameras around the scene. Allowing the user to stroll through the concert if some cameramen are paid specifically to stroll through the crowd (accompanied by strong men to open the road looooool) from different points of view even filming the crowd and fans dancing when they have some space to danse. Syncing the sound to the speakers-headphones like Apple is making 3D spatial audio. Imagine walking in a park with this and your BEST headphones on….. Mind blowing ! Nobody knows what you are doing and you walked and dance and since Apple Vision is see through, you won’t fall in the river the lake or hit a tree ahah

And then, an option, just like in the photo app, you can choose panoramic, photo, video, macro, etc. In the Spotify Experience App, you would just add different “tabs” like this. 

So the first would be the “official recording professional of the Gig”.

The 2nd one, a Google Street View

The 3rd could be like a drone or multiple drones

A 4th all the videos of all the users, asking AI to create a film with all these rushes, putting the professional sound over every video of fans jumping or not. Imagine if you could be at the concert with this Vision Pro without being there???!!!  Jumping near the lake like a madman. What an Experience heh?

Spotify could sell tickets for Metaverse Shows right in the app. And all the artists could then create entire experiences. They would need to go through training at Spotify HQ like YouTube is doing with YouTubers to explain them how they can make use of this and become the KILLER ARTISTS of this KILLER APP 

New experiences of Artists of a mix of Live, personal, studio… Imagine like a Netflix documentary spin off of Spotify to product ONLY documentaries and support the fresh new artists that are breaking the streaming sound industry. Like an incubator in , whenever you reach 1 millions streams (just a number example, you know the industry better than me lol!!!) in a short amount of time, Spotify allows you to live and be around this incubator for 3 months, paying the rent, offering all the equipment, studios, everything for free. And when the artist booms again, all the money Spotify is making through his business will multiply tenfold. 

But there would be no need to fight over the rights of these artists. So these artists would pay “less” to Spotify because they would not need agents anymore. Less middlemen means more money for everybody. 

Then its only a time for Spotify to buy out Soundcloud. Because this would step over their toes and the creativity scene out there is mind blowing. This is just, as from the beginning, an idea. I’m not Spotify-material, I’m just an artist and a user. So I won’t defend it unless someone asks me to. I have loads and loads to say about this answer and so much more. But this is not my place. 

Let’s get back to the Vision, if you would.

You are out of this amazing new concert. What do you do?

You do it again!

So Spotify Experience brings the NEXT wave with its App. And where the iPhone revolutionized our usages and the iPad Pro perfected it in such a tremendous way, Spotify Experience would be the KILLER APP of the Vision Pro.

And so, to make money out of it, Spotify could offer 3 parts of the gigs : one on a low tone, one on a medium tempo, and one of the high end of the intensity. Maybe only as little as 1 minute of each. Freemium. Or maybe more than one minutes, depending on what the artists feels like? No idea. So everyone can see, even if they can’t pay. I’d be ready to pay 100 euros to this experience. And I would LOVE to pay ANOTHER subscription, like 50 euros a month (even more, because Canal + already steals me 90 euros a months for Netflix, Disney, Canal plus, etc) for unlimited streamings of these. I know that to watch stories of how songs where created, to feel what the band was going through before this specific song hit the Charts, I can may so much more… There could be like different plans just like Dropbox is doing. The more you pay, the more into details it goes. And some of the best documentaries rated by the users could go for free and offered to Netflix and all the others to tell their users : We are here, what we do nobody does, if you liked this documentary inside your fav artist, this os only a little bit, we have so much more.

And who at Spotify like me and so many others, continue paying Netflix even when they don’t launch it anymore? Right? But still they need this window available anytime. Like Spotify where sometime our need of music just vanishes for an instant or a day or a week. And then comes back.

This asks of Spotify expertises in so many areas it’s maybe not as strong as it should to get there. But well, when there’s not challenge, there’s no glory, right? No Pain no Gain. 💪

Spotify, I can’t pay because I have little money. So my brother has been offering me Spotify for 10 years (you’ll know better if you look for me). So I could spend this money in Canal + and share with him 😉 10 years and have a look at my usage if you wish : Marky Quintinsky on Facebook which is linked to Spotify. You can also have a look at my usage of music since I logged in to Last fm. You’ll find me there under MiKoRa007. 130k streamings and counting or maybe more. And it doesn’t counts the 15 hours of meditation music I listen to everyday.

Because Music is not my Life, but Sound is. And only the music I find on Spotify is not enough. I need 432Hz, neural beats, low tempo which I can only find 12 straight hours of on YouTube. So I have to pay premium if I want not to be awakened by ads while sleeping… Wish it would be a place, Spotify, where I could satisfy ALL my Sounds needs, and they are plenty. 

I’m so passionate about, I buy a new high-end speaker-earphone-headphone every 6 months. Like others buy sneakers. And when I’m done with them, I give them away. Just gave away my AirPods Pro when I got the 2nd generation (soooo much better on every level, Apple is among the kings of portable sound-wear from my perspective).

Anyway, this is only the Seed of one of my many ideas about Sound, Spotify, Apple Vision Pro, the Future of the Experience we are Living. Because Life is boring. But Experimenting Life is Awesome. So I rebranded Life as “The Experience”. And everyday, when I‘m lucky enough to open my Eyes again (what a Gift, heh?), I pause my meditation music that was low all night, turn on YouTube or Spotify, and wake up with a Smile and music on. I’m here right around the corner at the Starbucks and my body moves to the music they play without thinking about it ahah. My body needs it, not only my hears. I’m sure you understand me. 

Everything is Vibration. And Music is one of the many vibrations that my Hearts needs, craves and is addicted to like a Junkie. I just can’t help it. I tried removing music from my life, mostly unconsciously. And it drove me too low. Never again. 

I hope this helps. That I can see Spotify grow tremendously with a bit of what I shared from my user point of view in the future. I don’t have the money to get my hands on a ticket to go to the US and buy one there. Since we could well be waiting 3 years to get our hands on it in Amsterdam like we did with the Apple HomePod. Lolilol. 😂

I Hope Spotify already has their hands on multiple Vision headsets and that the WHOLE R @ D department can play with it 24-7 as much as they need to Envision what I told you from their perspective !! Spotify CAN’T (in my perception) withold ANY investment towards this magical product that just launched. 

Because the way we use music has already changed so many times since my cassette player with a mike when I was 2. All colored plastic, making songs, recording tapes of whatever I was singing. Just for fun. 

And now, we have all we have. An on top of this, Apple Vision Pro just got out.

It would be MADNESS from any Musical industry linked company to overlook this.

I have ideas about adding story telling to every songs, and albums. Adding links to specific videos to add context to the songs, to the official music videos. To enable the artists who needs (but most don’t know they are lacking it because Spotify is not yet offering this expression space to their artists on every song and every album they upload like YouTube does for example) it to add story telling, links to short videos, text stories about the song, anecdotes of the roots of this particular song… Because as an artist, when I meet artists and they sing and play for me, they transport me. And I want to know all about how they were able to transport me there without me moving from my seat!!! Because when I’ll know that, I’ll know my favorites artists so much better. ANNNND my Music will get much much much better 😻

And I’ll autist like I’ve been since my birth, and REPEAT, again, like a madman, my already 1000+ times repeated favorite songs. And discover them in such a new way, I’ll need another 1000 streams to get everything the artist set out to express through his musical magic. Because we autists, we have this gift to be autist and so to speak, when we are doing something with the Heart and Passion, NOTHING exists anymore. We just remove ourselves from the world which can crumble, we couldn’t care even less ahah. Such a gift of hyper autistic focusing through work. But it only works through passion. Only.

For example, I’ve been working 18h a day for the last 5 years on my thesis about Psychology and the interactions between all the genres and why communicating between genres and generations is such a challenge. Linking Spirituality, Energetic (Chakras & Martial Arts Chi), Quantum Physics, Sound and Color Healing and so much more. Already wrote a book in French about it. But I need 10 years (maybe less if I’m smart enough and find the right people to help me on my Path) to create an app, on the Apple Vision Pro, another KILLER APP (that I envision free because anybody should be able to heal and understand their psychology without the need for a therapist anymore) to show the whole body through Apple Vision Pro. Where anybody will be able to zoom, deconstruct the body and discover the chakras linked to it, the message their illness and aches and rashes convey through their body. Adding videos of Psychology theory, Techniques, Methods, Tips and Tricks to remove their pain. Without stopping their medicines. But one day, their bodies won’t need it anymore. Because when you understand where a pain comes from, it disappears. Anyway, this is my aim, I won’t stop even if I’m alone for 10 more years. I’m not Einstein nor Musk but if they did it, what says I can’t right?

Now, and to finish, here is my Love declaration to each and every person who ever worked or consulted for Spotify :

You guys are amazing. My Ears and Heart are in love with you. When I was a kid, I had to have a material, heavy to have music in my hears. With ear pieces that ached my ears if I listened to long. And then, I’ve have to record the radio, specifically at the right time to get the song into my playlist. So painful…. But so satisfying at the same time (maybe one day, I’ll do it again, for fun ahah). 

And now, I put my Air Pods Pro 2, out of their case, they cuddle my ears for the 5 jours of their battery. When I take them out, it feels they were never there (almost). So for the hardware part, everything’s been revolutionized. 

And about the “software” (which was hardware when I recorded the cassettes, then had to burn my discs, sorts the dozens of 700MB discs with genres before I burnt them otherwise I would never find them again). I had to use soulseek. Find crappy formats. Sometimes missing a song in an album. And eMule. And Kazaa. And then BitTorrent.

And when I decided it was time I stopped torturing myself and was thinking of investing whatever Spotify asked at the time (and didn’t have to money because life costed and still costs a lot, 15 euros a months is 3 pints, or 1 fast food, or toothpaste+toilet paper+sponge+soap for dishes, you know what I mean).

And out of the blue, my Brother told me, come on, hop on my Spotify account for free.

And then, BOOOM You revolutionized the way I interacted with my passion. Removed like maybe One hour of hardwiring music to get it to my ears that you offered me. So I should be paying you guys a WHOLE LOT MORE. Because One hour a day of the last years represent loads of work. So my future success will even be better thanks to the awesome work you’ve put to get to this beautiful product and service Spotify is. I’ll always be grateful for this change of my Life you had. Such a drastic impact giving me comfort, ease of listening and filing (even if you could do even much much better on that regard I believe).

Because now that I’ve started making music… Well… It’s the same mess I used to to to listen to music all over again. I don’t have anything in the same place. I need to continue using SPotify but YouTube allows me more freedom to deliver messages. But my streamers aren’t all connected to my YouTube playlist. So all my audience is scattered accross multiple things. And its the same for all the music tools I would need to create music so much easily. I have loads of ideas on how Spotify could really accompany crews of musicians, solo musicians, even labels… 

Establishing itself as ”the Spotify” in Software Music (even more that it’s right now with all the competitors eating at it (and with so little room of evolution because this part of the industry has matured and the growth won’t ever come back to where it were when the crazy years happened at Spotify) where Apple reached “the Apple” in Electronic CPU units and now in portable music ear-wear.

I’d be so so happy if Spotify would be the Leader of Music. I’ve tried numerous plateforms. Qobuz, and amazon and apple, and soundcloud and so many others. But the warmth of my Link to Spotify and its AMAZING name that I like to prononce because it makes my voice sing when I pronounced it (that is why I chose MiKoRa as a pseudonym when I reached the internet when I was about 10-12). Imagine myself going through Soulseek and downloading a song the first time. Running 56k modem, hearing the dialing, connecting to the web, downloading soulseek (I had to go to lengths to find the name of this app-website ahah). And then, clicking on the song. And looking at the speed : 3ko/s, then 13ko/s, then 31ko/s, then back to 5… Nothing to do but look and wait. Buy virgins 700M discs with my little money. Verify when they buy the computer there WILL be a burner and not read only CD rom part. (The anxiety when they went without me buying the computer. They knew nothing, I already knew there were burners… and finally, CD-RW on the box when he opened the cardboard !!! Imagine the relief). So i rushed to my room, got one blank cd rom, put it in the burner, opened and ISO burner and prayed for it to work.

Got back to my room, opened the cd tray, closed, play.

And then I cried. For hours listening to every song I wanted how many times I wanting. Not having to rewind anything.

And then, at 14, i got my hands on a Sony Ericsson W810i, with INTRAAURICULARS. OPh my god guys. This was maybe a bigger bump soundistically speaking than going from 4K to 8K on video. And I could put my songs on my memory card 512Mb Sony proprietary format. And not burn a single disc again !! WOOOOOOW 😂

The rest I already told you. I’m an autistic boy still. But I grew up and all my autistic now is hidden inside. I only show through my writing. Because when you hear a 1,83m 85kgs speak with such sensitivity and creativity, people usually can’t listen… The difference between my way of thinking and being and the physical dimension of my being, as a strong man made me make big mistakes. 

I will never work “under” someone ever again in my Life. But I want to be a part of a team that has the same Mindset as I do : Working 18 hours a day for 5 years (travelling thourgh Western Europe, staying in places like Amsterdam for months and then moving again another place by foot, or camper, or ca, or train, depending on the circumstances), whatever is going on outside of my work (friends or not, family or not, kids or not) is not important at this step of my life. I have crossed so many boxes of the societal dream that I’m allowing myself to be like an elephant : I know I’ll get there. Whatever the challenges I will face, they are not walls but illusion of walls. And If I can’t break a wall (I have to respect the Wall he’s here for a reason I can’t decipher yet but I know I will), then there is a Window, a Door or even just a mouse hole where I’ll be able to go through just fine. 

I love you guys, I love your company. I Wish you good luck with the next technological Wave. Because the Tsunami has already launched and it won’t be long before it washes our Shores in Europe. And the Killer Apps are not there yet. Gran Turismo is one of the Killer Apps on the PS5.

What if Spotify, a Sound app by design, could become the Vision Pro Killer app. That would be SUSH A SNUB to the Industry and the Music world to become the Killer app on a VISION screen for a HEARING experience. I’m just saying ahahah. And I love to laugh at all the snubs I see and if I were working on these companies, I would try. 

And if you want me to explain how I can write 3 books, plan for 12 different artists brands, 12 different albums for these specific artists, work on a Psychology AI model (with no code because i don’t know how to code and don’t want to learn lol, my worth is not in the coding, it’s in the direction this coding could go if someone listened to me in a legitimate and respectful way), work an my thesis and still be  to stroll down Amsterdam at 11am on a Wednesday morning, I can come by for a “long coffee break” of 1 hour and tell you how and why I work this way and will never stop. But For this, I can’t be respecting whatever rhythm the society thinks you should hold me into : this 9-to-5 office hours, having to pay rent and obliged to stay in the same city almost forever unless my company moves. Or I have to leave my company because my wife needs to move out of our city for business reasons and I don’t want to leave or, etc. I think you get me. I only have what I had on me when I showed up at your doorstep this morning by chance.

But is it Chance? And if it’s chance, is it a chance for me? Or for Spotify? Or for both?

Anyway, I think you get the subtlety here. But I’m not saying more, if you want something from me, you can ask, and I’ll answer. With my Heart. As always.

They need to know they were useful when they didn’t have any feedback for so long. Because some of them will come back with these projects. And if they do, it will be with so much more confidence than when they were working for Spotify. Because they have matured and grown in so many ways, there understanding of Spotify is much clearer and crispier than ever before. And I know for spending so much time on Spotify, you can’t remove this brand out of your Brain. I’ve tried. Didn’t work. So I’ll keep it. For as long as no one better emerges, anyway 😉

Because we can see competition. And we can see emulation. I’m an emulator. And I emulate my colleagues, my patients, my friends, my family. And my brain for my enjoyment. Through these multiple hard-core intellectual projects I’ve been on for the last 5 years. An Elephant don’t need to rush. The objective here is to set for is coming. It’s just a question of time. Not anymore a if but a when.
