Question of the week: What is your favorite in-game music?

Hey folks! 

Do any of you enjoy gaming? If yes, do you have some favorite in-game tunes?

I used to love (and definitely still do) any and all World of Warcraft tunes! The orchestra they use to create them is of the highest quality & expertise and, in my opinion, their works can easily rival masterfully crafted tunes of composers of the likes of Hans Zimmer! And, mind you, he makes cinematic music. This is top tier stuff!

On some days, I like to play Magic: The Gathering Arena, which is the computer game version of the collectible card game Magic: The Gathering.

I’m usually listening to music at the same time as I play the game, so I have the background music and sound effects in the game turned off; and I also don’t listen to any particular music on purpose when playing Magic: The Gathering Arena—just whatever I happen to be hearing at the time.

Usually it’s music that I’ve saved to my Spotify library and relevant playlists, though, so here’s an example of a song that I’ve been listening to relatively often lately:

The NFS Underground 2 and Most Wanted soundtracks are such an integral part of my childhood... Hip Hop, EDM, Metal, you name it - it has it all, and they're all bangers too.

Apart from that, some other key moments I remember from my childhood are battling the Minotaur in the original God of War for the PS2 and causing mayhem in Prototype. These two games have absolutely fantastic soundtracks, highly recommended for fans of Two Steps from Hell and the likes.
