CORS Policy Error Playlist Image Cover Set

I have been unable to use the set playlist image cover api. I am creating a web app and using next js and have been able to get this to work. I consistently get a has been blocked by CORS policy: No 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header is present on the requested resource error. I am able to successfully use other parts of the api including getting an api token, reading users playlists and songs in those playlists. However the set  playlist cover image specifically returns this error. I have tried quite a few different implementations in my code and am starting to think it is not related to my code. Any help would be appreciated
