Can a backend fully control one Spotify account even though many users use it

Can a backend fully control one Spotify account even though many users use it

My Question or Issue

What I need is only one Spotify account connected to my app and users of my app should be able to request songs to be added to the queue and then my backend would be the one to decide out of the many songs requested which one should actually be put on actual account queue. So esentially I need one root Spotify account that only my backend knows about and users of my app even if they don't have a Spotify account would be able to request songs. Is that possible and would it conflict with the rules?

You can control any Spotify account that you want through the web API (assuming you go through the authorization process), whether you call it the "root" account or not. I don't understand why you think this account is any different from any other account.

However, multiple users won't be able to listen to music at the same time because each user needs to be logged in to this account on a Spotify client (e.g., the iOS app, the android app, the web player, the desktop app) and music can only play on one Spotify client at a time.
