Can my app have its own Spotify profile?

I'm developing an app using the Spotify API that will inevitably create a lot of playlists for people, but I am trying to avoid authenticating the user as much as possible since I don't really need their information for it to work. Is it possible for my app to have its own Spotify profile to save all the tracks to? 

A great example of this is the MusicLeague app which does have its own profile with every MusicLeague playlist ever made on it: https://open.spotify.com/user/ahd6cl9t2q0xlnfh3k65hc5qz

I figured they might have just purchased a premium account specifically for the app, but I wasn't too sure. Thanks!

Dumb question. I just realized free Spotify accounts can also create playlists.
