Can't create an app

My Question or Issue

I cannot create an app. I get an error message "Something went wrong, we were not able to create your app. Please try again later." I've tried multiple times over the course of the day.

support at spotify.com told me that they are not trained to help with development issues.

They just send me the link to this community. So, here we go. Another one bites the dust aaahhhmm the developer portal

As an update, after retrying I eventually got an error that I wasn't able to create any more apps. Once returning to my dashboard I found a plethora of new apps which I had to delete.
