Can't remove multiple songs from playlist at once.

Back before this stupid update that changed the way songs get added to playlists, I used to be able to just mass select songs on desktop, and then press the delete key to remove them from a playlist. Now for some reason the spotify geniuses have removed that option, all without adding an option to either desktop or mobile to mass select and mass delete.

It would have been one thing to go in to each song and just uncheck the heart on a song, but ever since they added this awful update where there's this new annoying submenu that shows all the playlists, its been become such a pain in the ass. I've actually never been so temped to cancel my sub.

tldr, is there way to delete multiple songs?

I just couldn't express it enough in my original post, but I genuinely hate this update that's added this "add to playlist" sub-menu. I held my tongue on it for a while now, but like really, you're going to remove the option to delete multiple songs now that you've made it so inconvenient to add and remove songs from playlists?

This feels like a dumb guy corporate move. They want to drum up suggestions on what they can do to "improve" the app, and the one old guy, who tries to act WAY too young for his age, suggested the "Add to playlist" sub-menu. And even though everyone else knew it was stupid, buddy has seniority because he's been there for way too freaking long.
