Create a playlist based on semantic tags

Hi. I want to build an app, initially on iOS, and I would like to implement a music player that uses the Spotify api. And as far as I have seen, I haven't come across this functionality. I think it would be a great feature to be able to create a playlist for a logged in user based on tags, so they can have an enhanced user experience.
