My Question or Issue

I’ve had several private apps in my Developer Dashboard “Disabled and blocked” for quite some time. When I originally built them, I had very limited knowledge of the Spotify Web API, and I believe I exceeded the rate limits by not respecting the Retry-After guidance on 429 responses. Since then (a long time has passed), I’ve updated my scripts to properly handle 429 (reading Retry-After and backing off), reduced request frequency between searches and playlist operations and added caching to avoid duplicate calls. The Developer Dashboard doesn’t show a Delete option for these blocked apps, and I currently can’t create a new app. Could you please remove the blocked apps from my account?


The documentation and general support redirected me to “documentation,” which doesn’t provide a way to appeal or delete blocked apps, so I’m requesting staff assistance here to remove these blocked apps from my account.
