Embed player remains stuck in preview mode after logging in to Spotify

Problems are with Safari 16.4.1 on Macbook Pro, OS Monterey 12.6.2 and also iPad Air 3rd gen. 16.3.1. The player works fine on Chrome, Edge, and Firefox.

The player is embedded in a Wordpress web page using the HTML widget provided by Elementor

I'm having a similar problem in Chrome. It's an embedded player page in Windows 10. If I clear my cashe it fixes it, but it keeps happening every 2-3 days. I've written to tunespeak .com about it (the host) but they just send me a generic response that I need to be on the same account as my spotify acct.

I am an engineer working on the Spotify embed player. 

This issue has been fixed now. You should have full playback for podcasts working in pretty much all browsers. We had a migration internally and there were some issues we couldn't avoid and including this one due to some unforeseen developments. Thank you for you patience and understanding ❤️

The problem is STILL NOT FIXED on Safari.  Works fine with Firefox, Chrome, and Edge.   I am embedding the spotify player in a music theory textbook and music theory tests.  The students must hear the entire songs from the beginning.  This is not acceptable.

Hi musicmanTom,

Sorry to hear that you have been facing this issue. The fix I was referring to was for "podcasts" being played in the Spotify embed player. As far as playing music is concerned I don't think they were ever supported in the Spotify embed player on Safari or any Apple devices. I can bring this back to the team and see if we can add support for this. However, in case there is a legal or licensing related reason for not supporting it, this might not be available on Apple devices in the future as well. Apologies for the inconvenience.

Hi, I have podcasts embedded from my Spotify account onto my site on Squarespace. When it is used on desktops it works fine and there is no preview but when it is viewed on a mobile platform it goes into preview mode. Could this bug please be fixed as most clients listen to podcasts on their mobile devices.
