Error with Web Playback SDK - MediaDRMBridge creation failed

I get an uncaught error when loading the SDK on mobile devices:

EMEError: Failed to execute 'createMediaKeys' on 'MediaKeySystemAccess': MediaDrmBridge creation failed

This looks to be at the SDK level, so I'm not sure what I am able to do differently.
