How does last.fm retrieve a user's full listening history?

How does last.fm retrieve a user's full listening history?

From all the API calls available, I could find I got get recently played but that can retrieve at most 50 recently played songs.

it’s because you need the premium on that app to retrieve further data.

Are you paging correctly? It is possible to get as many recent tracks as you need if you are paging correctly. If it would be helpful for you to see this being implemented in Python, let me know and I can help you.

It is documented here:

Hey! Thanks for responding. I was able to figure this part out but now I am trying to create a calendar feature that allows you to retrieve your listening history for any particular day. I am passing epoch value of the chosen date, lets say i wanna see my history of 23rd july 2024, in the before parameter but its returning me null. What could be happening? Does spotify Get Recently Played not allow you to go that far back?
