Is there a way to gather Release Countdowns from the API?

I've looked at albums and artists APIs but upcoming albums don't seem to show up on those public APIs despite seeing the countdown on the page. I get a 404 when using the ID for an upcoming album from the album API.

I understand this from the perspective of the albums API only being used for releases, but it would be fun to have an app that can aggregate countdowns for a user's followed artists.
