What if your Instagram audience could automatically become your Spotify listeners?

Here’s the idea:

The artist links their Instagram account to Spotify (only the artist accepts the privacy terms).

The accounts reached on Instagram are automatically counted as potential Spotify listeners.

When those users open Spotify, they’ll see or hear the artist’s pinned track inside algorithmic playlists or recommendations — because they already interacted with the artist’s content on social media.

Example:

An artist reaches 150,000 people on Instagram. Those 150K users, when using Spotify, could discover the artist’s selected song in playlists like Discover Weekly or Made for You, based on that previous interaction.

This would create a real bridge between social engagement and music discovery — giving artists more control, protecting user privacy, and finally making social reach count for something in streaming.
