My Question or Issue

I am the developer of a popular music visualizer.  Unlike Android, iOS does not have OS level support for music visualization, but I've noticed there are several apps now that are able to visualize music with Spotify's old SDK.  It seems I noticed this too late?  The new SPTAppRemote SDK for iOS doesn't appear to provide any way to get the PCM samples needed for visualization.  Is this something that could be added?

Additionally, can I still use the old SDK which allows this via subclassing SPTCoreAudioController?  It was deleted from github, but I imagine I can find it somewhere.  Given it was deleted I would imagine this is no longer considered acceptable, but I don't know what else to do. Other iOS apps have access to features (raw PCM) that I can't get with the new SDK and I won't be able to compete.
