Ratings API?

Is there any way to get an item's ratings from the Spotify API?

Through some hacking around, I found I can collect the total number of ratings and average score of all of them, but that's not all that helpful. I'd really like to see the spread of ratings, like how many 1-star ratings, how many 2-star ratings, and so on. I would also like to see what country those ratings are from. Like does an item have 100 5-star ratings from the USA or from the UK?

I want all that too, but would be happy to just collect the total number of ratings and average score of all of them.  How did you do that?
