Recently Played Endpoint Σ50

I have some questions about gathering user listening history from the Recently Played endpoint.

As far as I know, recursively calling the recently played endpoint is the only way to get a user's listening history. You can see how I have done that here.

The thing is, the limit for songs returned from a call is 50, and the api returns limit-1 with each call, so the maximum depth of retrieval is 1275 songs. Is there a better way to do this, or to get more songs? This could be very useful for a variety of applications (not to mention trying to find that one song you listened to a month ago whose name you can't remember.)
