Search query for type:artist not working

I've been struggling for consistent results using the search API. I've posted a couple times before sharing inconsistencies from results. As of today, any search with type:artist returns no results. This is also true in the search documentation (so it's not my implementation). https://developer.spotify.com/documentation/web-api/reference/search

Did something change in Spotify's policy? Is this feature being deprecated?

It's working for me when I fill in Swift next to q and arist next to type.

Thanks for the reply. Not sure what’s going on — if it’s just me. But got around it by returning albums, then grabbing the artist from the album. Seems to be more reliable that way somehow.
