Seeking Advice on Building a Spotify Clone for Learning Purposes

Hi everyone,

I’m currently working on a personal project where I’m building a clone of Spotify for my portfolio. I got inspired by popular YouTube videos showcasing similar projects. My goal is to recreate the design and features as a learning experience, using free music tracks and other resources without any intent to monetize. I will also be creating my own API for this project. The code will remain private, but I will provide limited access for recruiters.

I have a few questions:

1. Are there any specific guidelines or considerations I should be aware of when building such a project, especially regarding Spotify's branding and intellectual property? Is it allowed?
2. I plan to include a disclaimer stating that the project is for learning purposes only. Is this sufficient to clarify my intent?
